SUMMARY

Develop and guide business channel by possessing specialized channel knowledge, understanding of e-commerce platforms, expansion of new customer relationships, and ability to qualify and recommend new vendor/manufacturer relationships. Position reports to Director of Business Development.

Job Summary:

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager and located in our St. Charles, MO Headquarters, the HRIS and Payroll Specialist will:

  • Perform all payroll calculations, data entry, file importing, and adjustments for both a weekly and a semi-monthly multi-state payroll

REPORTING TO THE MANAGER OF FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS, THIS POSITION WILL BE ENGAGED WITH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL PARTIES TO CREATE FULFILLMENT AND LOGISTICS SOLUTIONS AND PROVIDE CORRESPONDING COSTING AND PRICING MODELS FOR PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS. SUMMARY

The Pricing Analyst, Fulfillment role will be responsible for the solution design, cost models and pricing outputs to support the RFP process for DM Fulfillment. In this role, the analyst will be heavily engaged in mapping the cost drivers associated with performing Fulfillment services and working with DC Operations and Engineering to maintain production standards and identify continuous improvement opportunities.

FULFILLMENT COST AND PRICE SUPPORT (70%)

  • Maintain the relevance of standards for Distribution Center, Back Office and Client Service cost drivers
  • Actively participate in the Discovery and Scope process with DMF prospective clients to attain needed information for pricing and provide recommendations in regards to sales and margin settings
  • Analyzes SKU/Operational data to determine warehousing requirements such as: Headcount, Material Handling Equipment, Space and Storage Media
  • Tasked to work cross-functionally to collect and present solution design including facility layout, product slotting, warehousing staffing and admin support, and general documentation of Concept of Operations
  • Analyze operational and financial metrics to provide a deeper understanding of key expense drivers. Provide analyses and recommendations to drive toward improved customer experience and expense leverage. Develop tools that can be leveraged globally to improve speed of information, efficiency of data gathering and enhance transparency to business issues
  • Prepare freight sales guide and other supporting materials for logistics recommendations; conduct regular review of service level and cost needs assessment for line of business and present focus areas to Supply Chain Team
  • Collaborate with the business unit to develop a comprehensive pricing/ROI model and establish a client review process

OPERATIONAL ANALYSIS (20%)

  • Conduct Monthly Review of Operational metrics forecasts and provide relevant information to respective parties
  • Utilize pre-determined Time Motion studies (e.g. MOST) to create labor standards utilized for measuring work and time for Line of Business and Operations profit contribution
  • Quantify and articulate risks and opportunities in achieving forecasts and prepare monthly variance analysis reports related to actual results vs forecasts
  • Works with DC Operations and Engineering to identify continuous improvement initiative opportunities
  • Performs monthly reporting of Labor Management Performance, Labor Benchmarks, and spatial capacity analysis

ANALYSIS AND SUPPORT (10%)

  • Perform Ad Hoc Analysis and Reporting for special requests
  • Retrieve, manipulate and store information that is housed outside of data warehouses and incorporate into platforms
  • Document metric definitions and the underlying process for data capture, storage and reporting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business Operations
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience, including financial deep dive analysis
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to independently lead projects and manage priorities
  • Passionate about positive customer experience balanced with business needs
  • General knowledge of Material Storage and Handling equipment, Warehouse Management software and work-measurement systems (MOST)
