Job Summary:

The Graphic Designer position is a key role providing crucial support to help the company achieve its objectives through the development of customer communications that deliver important information and promotional messages to both customers and prospective customers. The Graphic Designer collaborates with numerous individuals from multiple business units to create compelling communications to enhance our position in the market place and reinforce brand identity. Key focus areas include both outbound communications and website development (Drupal experience is a plus).

In addition to working with digital and print media, this role will also provide support in the development of video/multi-media based projects. Candidate should be able to effectively manage multiple projects, changes in project scope, and shifting priorities in order to maintain project requirements and ensure deadlines are met. The ideal candidate is an outgoing, self-starter with a passion for creativity, who will fit in among passionate, committed, intelligent, savvy and fun professionals.

  • BFA/BA in graphic design or related field
  • 3 to 5 years experience in graphic design with an agency or corporation
  • A blend of artistic and graphic design, software proficiency, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in current graphic design software to produce graphic art and visual materials for a wide variety of media including: Adobe InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator, Acrobat and Microsoft Office
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and producers within the graphic design and communications field
  • Must have excellent design, typography and layout skills
  • Expected to remain abreast of technological advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in the organization
  • Flexibility and interpersonal skills are important to the overall ability to work as part of a creative team and interdisciplinary Marketing/Product Management/Sales Teams
  • Organizational skills are essential to managing large, complex projects
  • Project management skills are required for internal coordinates and outside suppliers
  • Experience with photography and video production a plus
  • A great deal of creativity and latitude are expected
